Were looking for (Journeyperson/Journeyman) Automotive Service Technician to perform routine maintenance to complex repairs on compact cars, domestic vehicles and light-duty fleets. This full-time, permanent role is based in our Antigonish, NS store. We offer a clear path for career advancement with wage increases along the way. - Extended group health, dental, and vision benefits are available to all eligible full-time and part-time permanent employees. - Participate in an RRSP (Registered Retirement Savings Plan) program with matching Profit Sharing (DPSP (Deferred Profit-Sharing Plan). - Employee discounts on tires, services, and additional perks Responsibilities - Perform a wide range of general mechanical services, including brake and suspension repairs, engine diagnostics, and routine maintenance. - Mentor and coach apprentices by sharing your expertise and supporting their skill development in a learning-focused environment. - Collaborate with a skilled team while working on various vehicles, from standard passenger cars to light trucks. - Identify potential mechanical service opportunities in partnership with the Sales team. - Maintain the highest standards of safety and quality in all tasks. Qualifications - Fully licensed as an Automotive Service Technician (Journeyperson/Journeyman or Red Seal certified - A valid drivers license. - Brings a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with front-end brakes, shocks, and wheel alignments. - Experienced in performing inspections, diagnostics, adjustments, servicing, and repairs on a variety of vehicles. - Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
