School of Health Science - Professor, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Leave Replacement) 100 College Dr, North Bay, ON P1B 8K9, Canada Job Description Job Title: Professor Bachelor of Science in Nursing Department: School of Health Science Location: College Drive Campus North Bay, ON Status: Temporary Full-Time (August 2026 June 2027) Application Deadline: Thursday, April 30, 2026 12:00 p.m. Qualifications: - Masters in Nursing required; PhD preferred - Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario required - Minimum five years recent nursing experience related to maternal care, labour and delivery and pediatrics required - Minimum two years teaching experience, or equivalent, preferably in a college setting - Simulation training and experience is required - Previous postsecondary teaching experience informed by excellence with various learning theories and methods preferred - Highly effective communication, presentation, and organizational skills - Demonstrated knowledge of student success strategies in a postsecondary setting - Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the use of educational technologies as well as the use of remote delivery - Inperson, oncampus position; must be able to reliably commute to North Bay, ON Responsibilities: - Plan, deliver and evaluate effective learning related to the course - Work closely with students and colleagues to provide an optimal learning environment - Perform all responsibilities associated with the learning environment including preparation, delivery, and evaluation of theory and practical learning activities Applications will be accepted by the Organizational Development and Talent Management Department through our Career Portal athttps://www.canadorecollege.ca/about/careers until 12:00 p.m., on the closing date.
