This role is responsible for planning fleet movements, optimizing load assignments, and ensuring service compliance while maximizing fleet utilization and profitability. Key Responsibilities - Match available fleet capacity with customer loads to meet service requirements - Optimize fleet utilization while balancing cost-effectiveness and service levels - Coordinate with internal teams and external carriers to ensure efficient load coverage - Monitor and improve profitability through strategic load planning and carrier usage - Oversee fleet positioning and ensure compliance with operational and regulatory requirements - Support and guide customer service and fleet management teams within the region - Determine when to utilize third-party carriers and assist in re-planning as needed - Ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality communication with customers and internal stakeholders Requirements - Strong initiative and ability to work independently - Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills - Strong communication skills (written and verbal) - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based systems - Strong organizational, planning, and analytical skills - Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholders Experience & Qualifications Minimum: - High School Diploma or GED - 35 years of industry experience - Minimum 2 years of fleet management or dispatch experience Preferred: - Bachelors or Masters degree - Relevant certifications in logistics, transportation, or supply chain What Were Looking For - Self-starters with a strong work ethic - Candidates who are driven, proactive, and eager to grow - Individuals who can take ownership and thrive under pressure
