What Youll Be Doing As The Finance Manager Initially, youll need to roll your sleeves up. This isnt a seat-and-delegate job straight away, youll be handson across monthend, management accounts, balance sheet recs, budgets and forecasts. As the team grows (and youll be involved in building it), your role evolves with it. Youre not just filling a seat; youre laying the foundations. Working closely with the CFO, youll help to implement new reporting frameworks and processes that make sense for where this business is heading.
