Job Description The Division of General Surgery in the Department of Surgery is seeking a fulltime associate acute care surgeon (ACS) to join our group of eight surgeons. Remuneration is feeforservice as set by the OHIP Schedule of Benefits and Fees and eligibility to receive the HOCC stipend for completed nights oncall. Accountabilities Oncall daily from 7:00 a.m. 4:00 p.m. with two to three overnight shifts per week and a minimum of one in every four weekends (FridaySunday) Must be available during daytime hours to receive all new consults from the Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit, inpatient wards and all intraoperative consultations Must be available for daytime opportunities as a surgical assistant in the operating room and have 24/7 support from one of the other general surgeons Will be provided with one block per week in our outpatient clinic for patient followups, which includes associated administrative support and overhead costs.
