What youll do Efficiently pick and assemble orders from various temperature areas with great care and quality in mind to achieve ontime delivery to customers. Pack orders with attention to detail, distinguishing between similar named products, exact quantity, and correct product codes. Ensure that picked products are of the highest quality, with no damaged or suboptimal items. Correctly document and label all orders, interpreting pick slips, packaging details, shipping labels, and other documentation. Optimize tote fill by packing orders in a spaceefficient manner while maintaining quality standards. Balance fulfillment responsibilities with customer interaction and offer service, including supporting issues to resolution. Adhere strictly to safety and food hygiene standards, maintain a clean work area, promptly clean up spills and debris, and ensure totes are clean and void of debris before packing. Operate material handling equipment safely and complete preinspection checks before use. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting changes to operational procedures, productivity standards, customer satisfaction, safety, working conditions, and quality standards. Demonstrate flexibility in completing or adjusting work assignments based on customer requests and daily delivery schedules. The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $17.75.
