Enhance vehicle care as a Fleet Runner with Emergency Medical Care Inc. in Nova Scotia. This role supports essential emergency services through light mechanical repairs and vehicle maintenance. Reporting to the Manager of Fleet & Physical Resources, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and efficient fleet of more than 180 ambulances. Your responsibilities will include completing necessary repairs, ensuring vehicle readiness, and performing deep cleanings at the fleet center. Youll ensure compliance with EMC and EHS policies while delivering optimal service to patients. Key Responsibilities: Conduct light mechanical repairs on fleet vehicles Complete required repairs at Ambulance Base Station Ensure vehicles are stocked per EMC policies Maintain cleanliness according to decontamination guidelines Perform fleet centre cleaning and maintenance Requirements: Minimum Grade 12 education required WHMIS certification necessary Class 4 License required First Aid certification is an asset Good communication and decision-making skills Drive efficiency and patient care forward as you support the fleet at Emergency Medical Care Inc. #J-18808-Ljbffr
