With our award-winning customer service and a wide range of insurance products, were here to make a real difference.In this role, youll be working in a team where you will be focusing on the delivery of our key strategic objectives*.* Step into a role where your potential is valued and your growth is supported.* Collaborate with the Senior Pricing Manager and senior stakeholders to implement modelling and rating changes that enhance loss ratio, risk selection, and business growth.* Lead and develop a diverse team of pricing specialists within the Technical Pricing Department, ensuring capability progression, alignment with company values, and a culture of continuous improvement and agility.* Strengthen pricing capabilities by establishing bestpractice methodologies, governance frameworks, and robust controls.* Leverage internal and external datasets including brokerspecific data to enhance predictive pricing models and support profit and growth objectives.* Represent Pricing as a subject matter expert in key forums, providing technical guidance and translating complex information for nontechnical stakeholders.* Maintain expertise in Pricing and Data Science tools (e.g., WTW Radar, SQL, Python, Databricks) while staying current with market and technological trends to drive innovation and optimise pricing infrastructure.* Demonstrates excellent numerical and analytical skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.* Possesses expert understanding of predictive modelling and machine learning techniques relevant to technical rating for motor and home insurance products.* Shows exceptional critical thinking ability, intellectual curiosity, and strong problemsolving capability.* Communicates effectively and builds strong interpersonal relationships across teams and functions.* Selfmotivated leader with the ability to manage, develop, and support individuals and teams while remaining effective under pressure; collaborates confidently with senior stakeholders and adapts to evolving business needs in a competitive market.* Holds a minimum 2:1 bachelors degree (or equivalent) in a numerical discipline, or equivalent experience; brings projectmanagement skills (advantageous) and a commitment to continuous learning in analytics, data science, AI, and emerging technologies.At Cova, we understand that not every candidate will meet every requirement listed.
