Join Canadian Blood Services as a part-time Phlebotomist in Calgary, assisting in the lifesaving process of blood donation. Your focus will be on safe collection methods and excellent donor interaction. In this role, you''ll be an integral part of the Collections team, working face-to-face with donors to deliver a positive experience. You will conduct eligibility screenings, perform phlebotomy, and ensure accurate processing of blood products. Engaging actively during mobile events, you''ll promote a welcoming atmosphere and provide essential care to our donors. Key Responsibilities: Conduct eligibility screenings and donor registration Perform blood collection using venipuncture techniques Ensure confidentiality and safety in blood processing Oversee donor comfort throughout the donation process Set up and support mobile clinic operations Requirements: Completion of high school education Phlebotomy training or 1 year relevant experience At least 3 years in customer service environments Understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices Basic computer skills and bilingualism is an asset Deliver safe, effective donor care while enriching lives at Canadian Blood Services in Calgary. #J-18808-Ljbffr
