Provide essential supervised access support in Sault Ste. Marie. As a Supervised Access Program Worker, ensure safe family interactions during evenings and weekends while promoting a caring environment. This casual position reports to the Supervisor of Community Services. The SAP Worker will engage with children and families affected by separation and divorce, ensuring their safety and well-being during visits. Your role is crucial in fostering inclusive services, embodying values of kindness and compassion while utilizing a trauma-informed approach. Key Responsibilities: Ensure safety during family interactions Promote trauma-informed and client-centered services Engage effectively with children and families Model organizational values in line with strategic objectives Maintain a safe environment for all visits Requirements: Child and Youth Worker Diploma required Minimum two years'' experience with relevant families Conflict resolution and crisis intervention skills First Aid and CPR certification needed Valid Ontario Drivers License and clean Vulnerable Sector Check Drive positive outcomes in family access with empathy and professionalism in Sault Ste.
