In this role, you will deliver forensic psychiatric care, including assessments and treatment within correctional health services. You are expected to lead a multidisciplinary team and engage in educational and research activities to enhance the service''s effectiveness. Key Responsibilities: Provide forensic psychiatric care using pharmacological and psychosocial treatments Conduct court assessments in varying custody scenarios Lead a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals Submit assessments to the Criminal Code Review Board Participate in the psychiatry on-call schedule as needed Requirements: Certification in Psychiatry from the Royal College of Canada Forensic subspecialty training preferred Licensed or eligible for licensure in Nova Scotia Sufficient experience in Forensic Psychiatry considered Commitment to diversity and inclusiveness in practice Utilize your skills in forensic psychiatry and leadership to impact patient care at East Coast Forensic Hospital. #J-18808-Ljbffr
