Job Description

Job Title: Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic Location: Ontario / Manitoba We are seeking an experienced and licensed Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic for stable, permanent roles with a highly respected and growing company. Adjust equipment and repair/replace defective parts, components, or systems according to job scope. Test repaired equipment to ensure proper operation. Commission new equipment. Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Complete accurate time records, technical reports, failure reports, and parts lists. Stay current with industry, customer, product developments, and technical best practices. Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager. Environmental, Health and Safety Comply with safety policies and applicable regulations. Identify and report unsafe work habits, incidents, or near misses; perform risk assessments before each task. Maintain hand tools and equipment for safe operation. Keep work area orderly and meet housekeeping requirements. Attend Environmental, Health, and Safety related trainings. Wear required PPE assigned for each task. Qualifications Red Seal certification. At least 3 years of related experience with mining equipment (asset). Prior experience with equipment (asset). Excellent proficiency in reading hydraulic and electrical schematics. Proven diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair skills with mining equipment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Computer literacy (MS Office). Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to local mine sites and across Canada as required. Ability and willingness to work varied shifts as required.
