Position Overview Parttime (14 hours per week) fixedterm Project Coordinator position for the Faculty of Social Work, Central and Northern Alberta Region (Edmonton). The position will last approximately six months, based on grant funding, with the possibility of extension. The role reports to two Principal Investigators and is based in Edmonton; candidates must reside in Edmonton or nearby. Key Responsibilities Maintain ongoing communications with the Principal Investigators. Liaise with key stakeholders to gather updates on project activities. Coordinate marketing for each film theme via wordofmouth, social media, and news media. Develop logistics plans for film presentation sites, including arranging dates, accommodation, ASL interpreters or ramps, and catering. Coordinate evaluation activities, including developing consent forms, surveys and interview guides, distributing surveys, scheduling interviews, transcribing audio, and depersonalizing data. Analyze data with Principal Investigators, coding qualitative data into themes and performing descriptive survey analysis. Create and maintain detailed electronic and physical project documentation in accordance with the University of Calgarys Protection of Privacy Act standards. Support knowledge dissemination activities, such as coordinating presentations to Community Partners and generating a report for funders. Qualifications / Requirements Work and/or lived experience with 2SLGBTQ+ communities, including intersecting identities, is required. Postsecondary Diploma/Degree related to social work (e.g., social work, psychology, child and youth care, health promotion) required. Minimum two years of related administrative or research experience required. Working knowledge of critical approaches such as social justice and intersectionality. Minimum two years of eventplanning experience required. Experience in community development and organization of community members. Knowledge of event planning and evaluation methods. Experience with social media content creation on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn. Strong relational, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills. Openness to learning, flexibility, and the ability to work independently and in a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
