Overview As a coop or intern student at BMO, you will be part of the campus program that gives you the opportunity to be heard, grow, and make a difference. Responsibilities Monitors, restores service, changes, supports, and handles daytoday activities required to run the missioncritical systems for the company, ensuring business service levels are met and environments are managed. Monitors and ensures service restoration of infrastructure, applications (online and offline), and security while meeting service level agreements. Provides Help/Service Desk support, coordinates and facilitates Incident Management, deploys changes to the production environment, and engages thirdparty providers during an incident. Provides immediate response to production program or system problems. Participates in testing cycles to ensure the ability to deploy and operate infrastructure and applications. Deploys, implements, and provisions applications and infrastructure per deployment plans and build guides. Breaks down strategic problems, analyzes data and information, and provides insights and recommendations. Provides initial triage, investigation, and resolution of incidents, which may include automated code to production, automated recovery scripts, and runbook execution. Deploys automated code to production. Provides endtoend technology support including computer, applications, network, and storage, and performs rootcause analysis. Drives and promotes new processes, systems, technology, and operations to expand capabilities for performance and flexibility to align with project teams. Proactively monitors system performance and identifies operational improvements, ensuring smooth and consistent customer and business partner delivery. Supports deployment activities and manages implementation issues to resolution. Provides inbound call assistance to endusers for application, technical, and IMACD needs using available knowledge base and run books. Collaborates and engages with appropriate areas across the bank. Develops or helps develop knowledge assets required for the operation. Promotes adherence to standards and industry best practices. Develops an understanding of organizational interactions and complexity to engage with the appropriate matrix areas. Identifies opportunities to strengthen the operational capability, such as sharing expertise to promote technical development, mentoring employees, building communities of practice and networks across technology. Stays abreast of industry technical and business trends through participation in professional associations, practice communities, and individual learning. Focus may be on a business or group. Qualifications As a fulltime employee we require 35 years of experience; as part of the BMO campus program we are looking for motivated individuals with a strong desire to learn. Understanding of Information Technology operating processes used for systems, including monitoring, logging, and alerting standards. Knowledge of support and operations practice, concepts, and technology obtained through formal training and/or work experience. Technical and/or business functional knowledge of systems, tools, timing, and dependencies. Specialized knowledge from education and/or business experience. Salary $50,100.00 $93,000.00 Pay Type Salaried The above represents BMO Financial Groups pay range and type. Salaries will vary based on location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure.
