As a Sales Broker at BIG Hamilton, your role will focus on generating new business, building long-term client relationships, and developing a profitable book of business over time. You will have access to multiple insurance markets across both personal and commercial lines, proprietary technology platforms, internal service support, and a leadership team that is actively invested in helping brokers grow. What the Sales Broker role involves; Generate new business through referrals, networking, digital leads, and personal prospecting Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients through trusted advice and service Conduct client needs assessments and recommend appropriate coverage solutions Quote, negotiate, and place policies with multiple insurance carriers Manage the full sales process from prospecting to policy binding Provide ongoing support to clients and assist with renewals, policy changes, and coverage reviews Maintain detailed records of client interactions using PowerBroker and carrier systems Stay current on insurance products, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory changes Contacting inbound leads immediately as many are supplied by the office through various marketing channels.
