Drive innovation in engine testing with Ford of Canada as an Engine Test Analyst. This role entails performing detailed failure analysis on returned engines to enhance product quality and reliability. At Fords Windsor Engine Plant/Essex Engine Plant, you will disassemble customer engines and document failures, collaborating with engineering and quality teams for improvements. A strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail are critical for success in this role, ensuring you can diagnose and resolve complex powertrain issues. Key Responsibilities: Install and instrument engines on test cells Operate dynamometer test equipment for effective testing Dismantle and inspect powertrains per teardown analysis Diagnose engine and powertrain issues collaboratively Maintain a clean and safe work environment Requirements: College diploma in Automotive or related field Licensed Automotive Service Technician (310S or 310T) Shift availability for varied work hours 3-5 years mechanic technician experience preferred Skilled in diagnostic tools and measurement equipment You will make significant contributions within the Ford team, using analytical skills to support product excellence. #J-18808-Ljbffr
