This position receives inbound calls and makes outbound phone calls focused on developing buying relationships with small to medium-sized business customers. As a trusted advisor to Insights customers, the Account Executive Inside identifies opportunities to leverage Insights complete technology offering, which encompasses hardware, software, services, and networking. The position partners with sales specialists to manage and grow opportunities within their market/region to achieve sales objectives. Responsibilities Engage in cold calling to establish new business. Listen actively during calls for sales opportunities and customer needs while being conscientious and attentive to details. Identify sales opportunities by exploring customer business needs and may introduce a Sales Specialist to assist in closing a sale. Converse intelligently about all business issues, displaying excellent telephone and interpersonal communication skills. Followup with customers on quotes and orders to ensure excellent customer service. Understand the negotiating interests of both Insight and the customer while displaying solid technical knowledge. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required; some college business coursework, sales training, or customer service training preferred. Three to four years of sales experience, telemarketing experience, customer service experience, and computer industry experience preferred. Ability to selfmotivate. Ability to work onsite, remote, or hybrid based on business needs. Strong multitasking, organization, and time management skills. Strong interest in sales and good communication skills. Ability to respond effectively to inquiries or complaints in a timely fashion. Initiate, plan, organize, and sell to small to medium business customers.
