Eatons Electrical sector is currently seeking a Business Development Representative to join our team. This position is based at our Mississauga, ON facility and offers benefits from day one as well as a company vehicle. The targeted annual compensation for this role is $117,000 - $145,000 per year inclusive of bonus. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. What will you do? In this role you will be responsible for achieving assigned Sales and Orders objectives for Eaton products and services, focusing on key existing, target accounts and business development within the North and East of the city. You''ll also manage all aspects of the customer relationship, providing sales and technical assistance to distributors, customers, contractors, and end users, to drive sustainable sales growth. Sales Proactively identify, research, and generate new leads. Implement sales plans and growth strategies, to achieve annual performance objectives. Prepare sales proposals and value propositions to satisfy customer needs and expectations. Understand, and be responsive to, market conditions and competitive activities; communicate such information internally to drive corrective actions and inform Regional & District strategies. Promote Eaton products and services to optimize sales volume, product mix, and profitability. Collaboration Achieve team Orders and Sales goals. Maintain cooperative and credible working relationships with internal personnel, to consistently exceed customer expectations. Customer Relationships Cultivate customer, channel, and internal relationships. Develop bid strategies and quotations for customers using price and delivery guidelines, applying sound business decisions to enhance sales volume and margins. Success in this role requires the ability to collaborate across Eatons verticals, including manufacturing plants, engineering services, and component teams to deliver integrated solutions. We are looking for highly motivated candidates who can bring fresh and innovative ideas to our team through their diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications Diploma or Degree from an accredited institution or a Red Seal (309A) Interprovincial Journeyman Electrician Certification/Ticket. Minimum of 3 years experience in the electrical sector. No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Must be authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship now and in the future. Valid and unrestricted drivers licence. Preferred Requirements Diploma or Degree from an accredited institution in Electrical Engineering Technology, Power Systems Engineering, or related field. Minimum 5 years of technical experience in the electrical industry. P Eng. or CET designation, Business Degree. Knowledge of Eaton electrical products, services and its competitors.
