OverviewThe Position: Following the success of securing a strong pipeline of projects, we are seeking a highly motivated Intermediate to Senior Electrical Engineer to join our growing Vancouver team. As a key member of our team, you will lead the electrical design for a variety of small, medium, and large-scale building projects. This includes power distribution, lighting, fire detection, and other building services systems. ResponsibilitiesLead the electrical design for a variety of building projects, including power distribution, lighting, fire detection, and other building services systems. Mentor and coach less experienced engineers; verify design work and provide training as needed. Interface with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders; perform field reviews of mechanical and plumbing installations and provide quality inspections. Perform engineering analyses and design across different market sectors including residential, office, and education; ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes and standards. Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical load calculation tools; Revit familiarity is highly desirable. 2+ years of experience in electrical building services engineering design; P.Eng registration with EGBC is highly desirable. Ability to work independently and liaise with clients and project teams; verify design work and provide mentoring. Additional capabilitiesTeam and project leadership experience and ability to manage resources, financial performance, and delivery of multi-discipline projects as a project leader and as the key interface with our clients. Strong relationships with local clients and industry partners. Proven business development experience and work-winning track record.
