Project Controls Manager About the Job Our client is seeking a Project Controls Manager to lead scope, schedule, and cost control activities for a major hydraulics infrastructure project. This is an existing vacancy and plays a critical role in ensuring alignment between client expectations and internal execution strategies while maintaining strong project governance. This role acts as the primary interface for scope definition, schedule commitments, and progress reporting, while overseeing project performance through forecasting, earned value analysis, and KPI tracking. The position works closely with the Regional Controls Manager, Project Manager, Country Head, and Site Manager to support integrated project execution. This opportunity is well suited for an experienced project controls professional with international project exposure who can lead planning and controls processes across complex, multidisciplinary project environments. What You''ll Accomplish in This Role: Project Controls Leadership Lead development, validation, and control of project scope Establish, maintain, and optimize master project schedules Ensure alignment between client expectations and internal execution strategy Monitor milestones, deliverables, and project dependencies Manage project budget and schedule for internal reporting purposes Deliver dashboards, KPIs, and earned value analysis Change Management, Risk & Performance Manage change control processes and assess impacts on scope and schedule Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies Monitor performance and identify variances Provide forecasting and analytics to support leadership decision-making Prepare accurate progress reporting and performance metrics Client & Stakeholder Collaboration Act as primary liaison with client representatives for scope and schedule discussions Present progress updates and negotiate adjustments or variations Build strong client relationships through proactive communication Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams Resolve cross-functional scope and scheduling conflicts Support integrated project execution across disciplines Leadership & Process Improvement Mentor project controls staff and promote best practices Standardize project controls processes across teams Support leadership with strategic planning and project analytics Drive continuous improvement in project controls execution What You''ll Bring to the Table: Bachelor''s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field Master''s degree in Engineering or Project Management preferred PMP (Project Management Professional) certification required Minimum 5+ years of experience in project controls roles At least 3 years of international project experience Strong expertise in scope management and scheduling Proficiency with Primavera P6 and/or MS Project Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) Experience supporting large, complex infrastructure projects Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills Excellent communication and negotiation abilities Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Why This Opportunity?
