What Youll Do DayToDay Perform nonroutine and varied engineering assignments typically in areas of design, development, analysis, evaluation, testing, preparation of specifications, execution of field tasks and resolution of field problems. Receive minimal assistance and instruction on most assignments and solutions. Ensure compliance with government, organization and customer engineering standards. Independently evaluate, select and apply a variety of technical techniques, procedures, and criteria using judgement in making adaptations and modifications. Continue to develop knowledge of organization processes and customers. Work on special projects, as directed. Perform other related duties and tasks, as required. Utilize existing and/or acquired technical expertise to find improved technical solutions to support the product life cycle/replacement of current Framatome technologies. Actively participate in solving technical issues identified by project management, business line management or by customer request with the objective to increase business opportunities for Framatome Canada Ltd. Maintain a safety mindset. What Youll Bring Bachelors Degree (4 years) in Electrical Engineering. Minimum of 4 years of related experience. Registered Professional Engineering License (P. Eng.). Knowledge of related engineering standards, techniques and criteria. Good communication skills to comprehend and convey detailed technical data. Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships; work collaboratively within a team environment. Good problem identification and problem resolution skills.Displays informal leadership characteristics.Exhibits questioning attitude and practices selfchecking.Advanced proficiency with specialized software tools and programming languages as required by the role. Total Rewards Package Salary: $85,000 - $116,000, and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses.
