Instrumentation Technician - Northern Quebec Northern Environment | 14-14 Schedule | Fly-In Fly-Out Why This Position? About the Position In this role, you will be responsible for actively contributing to project execution while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. More specifically, you will be responsible for : Program, modify, and troubleshoot Allen Bradley (Rockwell Automation) programmable logic controllers (PLCs); Configure, update, and diagnose FactoryTalk View HMI operator interfaces; Diagnose and resolve on-site issues (4-20 mA signals, control loops, sensors, actuators, control circuits); Install, calibrate, and validate measuring instruments (pressure, level, flow, temperature, etc.); Configure and troubleshoot industrial communication equipment and network switches (e.g., VLAN changes); Read, interpret, and update electrical and instrumentation drawings using AutoCAD; Use Deswik software to manage and update VOD plans and underground infrastructure; Participate in commissioning, functional testing, and continuous improvement of control systems; Provide technical support to operations and collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and telecommunications teams.
