This position handles customer service issues by interacting with clients, third party payment centers and internal departments to expedite customer payments, resolve customer disputes and ultimately improve DSOKEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESCommunicate with Internal/External clients to provide account overview,Ensure claims are resolved and escalated and any urgent matters are escalated in a timely manner to parties concerned.Collection of Current and Past Due balances for assigned client portfolio and maintain notes within SAPReview of client accounts to ensure payment are applied and generate client statements upon requestReview of monthly K84 Duties and Taxes as required by clientsOther projects as requested by ManagementQuality, Health & SafetySupports organizational commitment to ISO 9001, ISO 45001 certification Montreal locationPerform assigned tasks to support DSV meets its objectives and targets regarding quality, health, safety and environment and follow all requirements as set out in the DSV Quality Health Safety Environment policy.Staff are required to ensure that their day-to-day activities embrace sustainability, Health and safety therefore reducing the impact upon the environment, supporting the communities we work in and reducing incidents in the workplace.QUALIFICATIONS Education and ExperienceA minimum of 3+ years in Accounts Receivable/ Collections experienceCollege Degree in AccountingSkills and CompetenciesGood command, both verbal and written, English skills.Ability to create collaborative engagements and active listeningService oriented and able to resolve customer grievancesStrong interpersonal skills, building professional relationships internally and externallyStrong problem-solving skills and analytical skillsAbility to multi-task, plan, prioritize and manage time effectively to meet goals and achieve resultsBoth a team builder and a team-playerExcellent organizational and time management skillsIntegrity and accountabilityAct as a role model for DSV values and adhere to the Code of ConductLanguage and Computer SkillsEnglish is the principal language for this position, additional languages may be required in other locations.Ability to communicate effectively in a diverse multicultural environment.MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Advanced knowledge of excel preferredSAP Experience, an assetPhysical DemandsProlonged periods sitting and standing at a desk and working on a computerOccasional travel may be requiredRegular working hours apply for this position, at times, working beyond these hours may be required by business needs.Additional Notes / Acknowledgment Due to the dynamic nature of our industry, your accountabilities and role may change.
