Responsibilities - Safely operate a SitDown Counterbalance forklift to move LTL freight across the dock. - Load and unload various types of trailers, ensuring weight distribution is balanced. - Work independently to prioritize shipments based on departure times. - Scan and track freight using handheld devices to maintain 100% inventory accuracy. - Identify and report any damaged goods before they are loaded for transport. - Maintain a clean and organized dock floor to ensure a safe transition for the morning crew. Qualifications - Valid Forklift Ticket/Certification (Required). - Must be available for afternoon training before moving to the regular night shift. - 12 years of experience operating a SitDown Counterbalance forklift. - Previous experience with LTL (Less Than Truckload) freight is a major asset. - Must have CSAapproved steeltoed boots and highvisibility gear.
