Job Overview A remote ECAD Library Engineer Siemens Xpedition position is available through Belcan at a key aerospace client. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field and 510 years of relevant experience. Job Duties - Create accurate component models in electronic CAD systems per company standards and practices. - Design CAD symbols and models for printed circuit board (PCB) and schematic design; load appropriate attribute data into enterprise systems. - Interpret component drawings and specifications to produce accurate electrical schematic symbols, PCB layout component models, and land patterns. - Selfcheck work to meet part requirements and guidelines. - Maintain familiarity with computer directory structures and file configurations in a Windows operating system. - Apply mechanical aptitude, working knowledge of electronic functions, and solid math and geometry skills to the role. - Ensure CAD symbols/models meet all customer requirements for accurate fabrication, assembly and test of the circuit card assembly. - Build relationships to resolve issues and identify missing data; use reference documents for decision making. Required Qualifications - U.S. citizen - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field - 510 years of relevant electrical engineering experience - Ability to work in a structured, process-driven engineering environment - Experience with Mentor Xpedition EDM Library Preferred Qualifications & Skills - Passion for accuracy and customer service - Effective teamwork abilities - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Continuous learning mindset for new technologies and processes Compensation and Benefits Competitive pay ranging from $115,000 to $140,000, with adjustments based on education, experience, location, and discipline.
