Contract Opportunity: Capital Markets Compliance Analyst (BAU & Power BI)Location: Hybrid 4 days onsite Schedule: MondayFriday, 9:00 AM 5:00 PM Start Date: ASAP Contract Duration: Until October 2026 Pay Rate: Up to $55/hour (based on experience) About the RoleWe are seeking a highly detail-oriented Capital Markets Compliance Analyst to support a specialized, high-impact compliance function within a regulated financial services environment. This is a niche, growth-oriented contract role that blends business-as-usual (BAU) operational support with data analytics and Power BI reporting, offering regular exposure to senior leadership.The role supports an employee trading oversight and compliance program, focused on monitoring personal trading activity, ensuring regulatory adherence, and preventing conflicts of interest. It is well-suited for candidates who enjoy balancing stakeholder engagement with hands-on analytics and process improvement and are comfortable operating in both spaces. Key Responsibilities BAU & Compliance Operations (Approximately 5075% initially)Conduct outreach to a large internal employee population to obtain required personal trading documentation (e.g., statements and disclosures)Perform persistent follow-ups and manage remediation of documentation gapsApply judgment to determine when non-compliance issues require escalationSupport audit, compliance reviews, and investigative follow-up activitiesMaintain detailed, audit-ready records of communications, decisions, and documentation status Data Analytics, Reporting & Automation (Remaining time)Build, enhance, and maintain Power BI dashboards to track compliance metrics and identify gapsAnalyze data and present insights using Excel-based reportingSupport and design automation initiatives to streamline BAU outreach and tracking processesDocument business logic, workflows, and reporting methodologiesAct as a bridge between operational compliance needs and data analytics solutions Candidates must be comfortable performing both operational/compliance follow-up work and analytics/reporting tasks. Must-Have Skills & ExperienceHard Skills35+ years of relevant experience (flexible for strong profiles)BAU operations, remediation, or compliance support experienceStrong documentation, report writing, and investigative skillsAudit or regulatory review experienceHands-on Power BI and data analytics experienceSolid understanding of Capital Markets / SecuritiesExperience within a brokerage, FI, or capital markets environmentSoft SkillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsHighly organized with exceptional attention to detailConfident and professional when following up with internal stakeholdersComfortable managing competing priorities in a deadline-driven environmentSound judgment when handling sensitive or escalated mattersNo degree or certifications required.
