This position reports to the Senior Superintendent.What You Will Be Doing?Streamline project dedicated locate program by maintaining tracker and report system.Customize a KMZ maps and layouts and provide utility locate.Perform training sessions to Construction Teams and onboarding subs-contractorSecure and coordinate designated locate project service.Assist in Dedicated locate program procurement process and evaluate the process to ensure best practice as per site conditions.Develop Project wide I internal Safe DIG plan.Assist in permitting process and seek approval from utilities ownersSetup series of training sessions and coordinate with Safety departments to explain the DIG safe steps to enhance the project wide safety programEnsure compliance with all federal, provincial and local laws, while adhering to OH&S rules and regulations.Create, manage and distribute documentation and correspondenceCreate locate packagesScreen requests and identify issues to determine prioritySchedule and dispatch Locators for utility locatesAttend construction coordination meetingsCompile and distribute various performance and productivity reportsData entry into various systemsClean up data entry to ensure accuracySupport the billing process to ensure accuracyAssists other staff in office duties as requiredPerforms other duties and responsibilities as requiredWhat We Are Looking For?University degree in civil engineering or Civil Engineering Technologist Diploma.P3 Project experience (Design-Build etc.) is an asset.1-2 years of relevant experience with utility locatesCommunication excellent ability to clearly and effectively communicate information and clarify requirements both orally and in writingStrong customer service orientation and demonstrated customer service skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, multi-client environment with ability to apply various client-specific business processes to individual service request situationsWork with a sense of urgency by demonstrating the ability to shift priorities to accomplish objectivesEffectively manage time to keep commitments to both internal and external clientsProficient with Microsoft Office products (MS work, MS Excel, MS Outlook)Must be highly organized and able to multi-task Must be able to probe and gather detailed information from callers, assess issues accurately and assign level of priorityExcellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.Ability to make timely and effective decisions.Ability to work under pressure and adapt to change.Strong planning and organizational skills.Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting experience.High level of technical understanding.Expected CompensationSuccessful candidates chosen for this position can expect to earn between $120,000.00 CAD - $140,000.00 CAD.
