Sailun Tire Americas Trade Compliance Data Analyst (U.S. & Canada) Position Reporting To Logistics Process Manager, NA Region Summary/Objective The Trade Compliance Data Analyst is responsible for the accuracy, integrity, and maintenance of duty-related data within ERP systems (NAV, SAP) and for validating the accuracy of customs filings submitted by external brokers across U.S. and Canadian operations.This role plays a critical function in protecting the organization from duty exposure and compliance risk by ensuring that tariff data, product attributes, and import documentation are accurately reflected in internal systems and external filings. The position works cross-functionally with logistics, finance, IT, product, and customs brokers to identify discrepancies, drive corrective actions, and strengthen data governance and compliance controls.Essential Functions Duty Table Maintenance & ERP Data IntegrityOwn the ongoing maintenance, validation, and accuracy of duty-related tables (tariffs, surtaxes, trade remedies) within ERP systems (NAV, SAP). Ensure item master data and product attributes are correctly configured to support accurate duty calculation and reporting. Perform structured validation checks on duty logic, classifications, and system outputs. Identify and correct discrepancies between system data and supporting documentation. Support the development of data governance controls, validation rules, and audit checkpoints within ERP environments. Broker Filing Audit & Compliance ValidationAudit customs filings submitted by brokers, including CBP 7501 (U.S.) and B3 (Canada), to ensure accuracy of tariff classification, valuation, country of origin, and duty application. Validate broker filings against ERP data, commercial documentation, and internal records. Monitor broker performance and identify trends, errors, or compliance risks. Support resolution of discrepancies with brokers and ensure corrective actions are implemented. Contribute to strengthening broker oversight processes and compliance standards. Import Documentation Review & ReconciliationConduct detailed reviews of Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin, and HTS classification support. Reconcile documentation against ERP records and broker filings (ACE / CARM). Identify inconsistencies and support corrective updates across systems and documents. Drive improvements to documentation accuracy and standardization.Issue Tracking & Root Cause AnalysisMaintain structured issue logs and track discrepancies through to resolution. Support root cause analysis across ERP data, documentation, and broker filings. Collaborate with logistics, finance, documentation teams, and brokers to resolve issues. Contribute to development of preventive controls and process improvements. Reporting, Audit Support & Data InsightsPrepare data accuracy reports, broker audit summaries, and compliance trend analyses. Support internal and external audit activities by preparing documentation and evidence packages. Develop and maintain dashboards and KPIs related to duty accuracy and compliance. Identify trends and recommend continuous improvement opportunities.Cross-Functional CoordinationPartner with brokers, logistics, finance, IT/ERP teams, and product teams to ensure alignment of data, classifications, and processes. Collaborate with product teams to ensure accurate product attributes, classifications, and country-of-origin data are maintained and reflected correctly in ERP systems. Support system enhancements related to duty logic, data validation, and automation. Assist in implementing process improvements across trade compliance workflows. Additional ResponsibilitiesSupport evolving duty governance initiatives, including lifecycle data validation and compliance readiness. Participate in ERP (NAV, SAP) and EDI enhancement discussions related to trade compliance data. Contribute to special projects related to data governance, compliance, and process optimization. All other duties as assignedQualificationsStrong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and validate structured data. Advanced Excel skills (data analysis, reconciliation, reporting). Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive issues to resolution. Working knowledge or strong interest in import/export processes (U.S. and Canada). EducationBachelors degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field. Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience will be considered. Preferred ExperienceExperience in trade compliance, customs brokerage, logistics, or data governance. Hands-on experience maintaining or working with ERP data (NAV, SAP ECC, S/4HANA). Familiarity with ACE (Automated Commercial Environment) and CARM (CBSA Assessment and Revenue Management) environments. Experience auditing customs entries (CBP 7501, B3) and working with brokers.
