Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Mainframe Assembler Developer to design, develop, and maintain Mainframe Assembler programs and JCL to support both ongoing operations and project-based initiatives. The role involves working closely with business teams to provide production support, implement system enhancements, and assist with product upgrades. The ideal candidate will be capable of independently analyzing issues and delivering effective solutions to complex programming challenges.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain Mainframe Assembler (HLASM) programs and JCLProvide production support and troubleshoot system issuesImplement system enhancements and support product upgradesPerform independent analysis to identify and resolve programming problemsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to meet business and technical requirementsRequired Skills:Strong expertise in Mainframe Assembler (HLASM) programming (critical)Proficiency in JCLExperience with DB2Preferred Skills:Experience in production support environmentsKnowledge of PL/1 programmingFamiliarity with COBOL
