We are seeking a hands-on IT Manager to lead a small team while directly supporting and maintaining a complex, multi-site IT environment. This role, based in the Metro Vancouver Area, and combines infrastructure ownership, technical execution, and team leadership.Why This RoleThis position is ideal for a technically strong IT leader who has a high level of ownership. The role offers autonomy, accountability, and the opportunity to make immediate impact across infrastructure, security, and operations.Key ResponsibilitiesLead a small team of Help Desk support.Administer infrastructure: Fortinet firewalls, endpoint security, Windows/Linux, Active Directory.Manage virtualization (VMware, Nutanix, Parallels) and SQL Server (ERP support).Oversee Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, security).Perform hands-on work (hardware, cabling, data center support).Manage vendors, budgeting, and IT operations.Qualifications5+ years hands-on IT infrastructure experience.Strong in Fortinet, Microsoft 365, AD, virtualization, and SQL Server.Experience with ERP systems.Hands-on mindset with ability to lead a small team.CertificationsMicrosoft 365 Enterprise Administrator Expert (required).Fortinet NSE 4+ preferred.VMware/Nutanix, Security+, or ITIL are assets.Compensation and Benefits$90,000 to $110,000.Comprehensive benefits package.Certification support.Career growth opportunities.
