OverviewWe are seeking a Cloud Security Architect to design, implement, and govern secure AWS cloud architectures within a highly regulated insurance and financial services environment. This role will define and enforce cloud security standards, integrate security across platforms and delivery pipelines, ensure compliance with regulatory and enterprise risk requirements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable secure and scalable cloud adoption.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and oversee secure AWS cloud architectures tailored for regulated environments such as insurance and financial servicesEstablish and enforce cloud security standards, guardrails, and reference architecturesIntegrate security practices into cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) frameworksEnsure adherence to regulatory, risk, privacy, and enterprise security requirementsCollaborate with cloud, infrastructure, application, and risk teams to drive secure cloud adoptionConduct threat modeling, security design reviews, and cloud security assessmentsRequired Skills and ExperienceProven experience as a Cloud Security Architect with strong expertise in AWSIn-depth knowledge of AWS security services, including IAM, KMS, CloudTrail, Security Hub, GuardDuty, and related toolsHands-on experience with DevSecOps practices, IaC tools (such as Terraform or CloudFormation), and automationStrong understanding of identity and access management, network security, data protection, and Zero Trust principlesExperience working in regulated industries such as insurance, banking, or financial servicesAWS Security or other relevant cloud security certifications are preferred
