Title - Full-Cycle BookkeeperJob Description: Full-Cycle Bookkeeper (In-Office) Job SummaryWe are looking for a dedicated, full-time Bookkeeper to join our team on-site at our St. Marys office. You will be responsible for the full-cycle accounting for our group of companies. This role is central to our daily operations, requiring a professional who enjoys working in a collaborative office environment and can expertly navigate Sage 50 to maintain precise, reconciled books across multiple entities.Key ResponsibilitiesSage 50 Data Management: Record all daily financial transactions, including sales, purchases, and receipts, ensuring they are correctly posted to the general ledger, supplier ledger, and customer ledger.Cash Flow Management & Forecasting: Monitor daily cash positions for all entities; to project upcoming inflows and outflows and alert management of potential shortfalls.Full-Cycle Payroll: Administer bi-weekly payroll for staff using the Sage 50 payroll module, including the calculation of wages and source deduction remittances.Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage the complete A/P and A/R cycles, including invoice processing, collections, and vendor reconciliations.Reconciliations: Complete daily bank and credit card reconciliations to verify account balances and resolve discrepancies.Tax Compliance: Prepare and file government remittances, including GST/HST, WSIB, and EHT, ensuring all filings are accurate and on time.Financial Reporting: Generate and review monthly financial statements (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Trial Balance) for management review.Year-End Preparation: Coordinate with external accountants to prepare audit-proof year-end files and working papers Qualifications & SkillsEducation/Experience: Post-secondary diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum 35 years of hands-on experience in full-cycle bookkeeping.Software Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Sage 50 is required (including payroll and reporting modules).Technical Skills: Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, experience with Sage 50 in a multi-company environment.$55,000 to $70,000 per year annual salary.
