This is an opportunity to make a visible impact while working on products that reach households across the country.Your Responsibilities Youll lead and mentor a team of 2, balancing leadership with a hands-on approach to product development Youll guide product strategy and development from concept through production and post-launch evaluation Youll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, customer-focused product assortments Youll translate consumer insights and market research into actionable product opportunities Youll partner with global manufacturing teams to ensure design intent, quality, and timelines are met Youll manage budgets, timelines, and product lifecycle performance to meet business objectivesSkills and Qualifications 7+ years of relevant product development experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role Undergraduate degree in Industrial Design (preferred), Engineering, or a related field. Experience in hard goods, tools, or related product categories, with a strong interest in the DIY or professional tools space Proficiency in SolidWorks, Power BI, and Adobe Creative Suite is required Familiarity with PLM systems and ThoughtSpot is considered an asset Familiarity with CAD tools and emerging AI visualization technologies is considered an asset Strong understanding of manufacturing processes such as injection moulding, machining, and casting Demonstrated ability to lead projects, influence stakeholders, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skillsNote from the Hiring ManagerWere looking for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, leading by example, and bringing ideas to life.
