IntroductionWe are partnering with a national specialty healthcare organization that operates a modern pharmacy location in Hamilton, ON, focused on patientcentered care, compounding, and clinical pharmacy services. This site is part of a broader network supporting complex medication needs across homecare and outpatient settings.This is a full-time permanent position offers the chance to work in a highly regulated, quality driven environment with a collaborative clinical team. In this role, you will hold primary responsibility for the safe, accurate, and compliant delivery of pharmacy services, while supporting and supervising technical staff.ResponsibilitiesOverseeing all prescription dispensing activities in compliance with provincial and federal pharmacy regulationsSupervise the staff in the pharmacy.Providing patient counseling, clinical documentation, and pharmaceutical care as requiredSupervising and coordinating pharmacy technicians and workflow across production, order entry, and distributionSupporting sterile and nonsterile compounding activities, including IV admixtures (e.g., antibiotics, TPN), as workload requiresEnsuring all SOPs, policies, and quality standards are consistently followedEstablishing, maintaining, and validating quality assurance procedures and documentationMonitoring equipment, materials, and processes and recommending improvements where appropriateCollaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to resolve medicationrelated questionsParticipating in clinical initiatives and quality improvement programsRequirementsBachelors degree in pharmacy requiredLicensed and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of Ontario requiredHandson clinical or homecare pharmacy experience is an assetIV admixture or sterile compounding experience is an assetHospital or outpatient pharmacy background is an assetExperience with Kroll pharmacy software is an assetInjection certification is an assetStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing prioritiesHigh attention to detail and commitment to quality and patient safetyExcellent communication skills (verbal, written, and telephone)Professional judgment and confidence in a regulated environmentComfortable working collaboratively across clinical and operational teamsSolid computer skills and adaptability to pharmacy systemsWhat We OfferExposure to specialty and sterile compounding pharmacySupportive clinical environment with national infrastructureCompetitive hourly compensationMedical benefitsLicensing renewal fee & other coverageWhy apply through Brunel?
