Reporting to the Senior Director of Sustainability, this role supports operational efficiency, facility maintenance and regulatory compliance while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.In this role you will oversee project planning, execution, and scheduling while maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders, both internal and external throughout each project phase. You will work closely with a variety of internal teams to complete safe, ontime, and onbudget project delivery.Qualifications1.Lead an array of maintenance capital, equipment, and infrastructure projects2.Source, communicate with and monitor contractors and project deliverables3.Gather information, engage stakeholdersand communicate project details and expected outcomes4.In coordination with stakeholders, plan the projects, prioritize tasks and keep track of the project flow to make sure its on time and within budget.5.Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and risk assessments6.Coordinate cross-functional teams from all departments 7.Track costs, schedules, risks, and performance metrics8.Communicate project status and outcomes to internal stakeholders and leadership9.Participate in the annual capital budget planning process 10.Ensure all Health and Safety, Environmental, and Food Safety requirements are met11.Budgeting: a.Provide input into budget planning. b.Monitor the financial performance of area of responsibility against approved budget so that areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified and rectified.12.Policies, Processes & Procedures a.Adhere/comply with company policies and procedures. b. Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of improved department specific processes, policies, and procedures. c. Ensure that all employees under position leadership, follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.Safety, Quality, Environment & BRC AccountabilitiesPromote and comply with all EVP health & safety, and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment for all people. Responsible for food safety, quality and legal responsibilities as defined in departmental procedures (e.g., regulatory program, SOPs, BRC requirements etc.).Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices.Actively participate in internal and external audits where necessary. Investigate, find root cause, determine corrective action and/or preventative measures and follow up on any deviations noted while performing assigned tasks.Attend necessary meetings related to department, operations, continuous improvement, HACCP/food safety and quality.Knowledge and Experience Minimum 3 years of project management experience in a construction, industrial or manufacturing environmentEquivalent combination of training and work experience will be consideredPoultry processing or food manufacturing experience considered an assetMaintenance, construction or equipment-focused project background considered an assetProject Management designation (PMP, CAPM, or equivalent) OR an Engineering degree considered an asset.Ability to write business casesAbility to communicate and track project milestones, targets dates and roadblocks.A good listener and communicator.Self-motivated.Work well with a team.Familiar with the Microsoft suite of software as well as other project management tools for tracking and communication.
