Every day we help you go new places, with expertise in moving and logistics, bringing the world within reach.Atlas Van Lines Canada is seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager Connect Logistics to grow and strengthen logistics opportunities across the Atlas Agency network. This role serves as a key liaison between Atlas Agents, Connect Logistics, Orbit leadership, and customers, with a strong focus on opportunity development, relationship management, and brand expansion.The ideal candidate brings logistics industry experience, consultative sales expertise, and a collaborative mindset to drive new business and expand service offerings.Key Responsibilities:Vet and develop new logistics opportunities by identifying areas for increased success and collaborating with Directors across multiple departments on innovative solutions.Act as the primary point of contact for opportunity development, maintaining consistent communication with customers, Atlas Agents, and internal staff.Meet regularly with Atlas Agentsboth remotely and in personto foster new business opportunities and strengthen partnerships.Grow and promote the Connect Logistics brand throughout the Atlas Agency network.Proactively engage with key Atlas Agent Sales Team Members and Account Coordinators to build rapport and uncover ways Connect Logistics can support their clients through expanded service offerings.Partner closely with Connect Logistics leadership to evaluate the viability of new opportunities, including pricing development, carrier/provider sourcing, and service expansion.Collaborate with Orbit leadership to develop new business initiatives and broaden logistics capabilities.Educate Atlas Agents on the value proposition, solutions, and success opportunities within Connect Logistics.Conduct quarterly marketing and business review meetings with key Connect customers to promote and sell logistics service offerings.Qualifications & Experience:Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.35 years of experience in sales, customer service, and/or marketing, preferably within the logistics or transportation industry.Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Proficiency with computer systems, CRM tools, and standard business software.Demonstrated ability to analyze opportunities, make sound decisions, and apply strong reasoning skills.Ability to manage relationships across multiple stakeholders and work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.Willingness to travel as required to support Atlas Agents and customer engagements.Why Join Atlas Van Lines Canada?Be part of a trusted and established brand with a strong presence across Canada.Play a key role in shaping and expanding Connect Logistics offerings.Collaborate with experienced leadership and a nationwide agent network.Enjoy a dynamic environment that values innovation, partnership, and professional growth.
