The role is based in the Toronto office, responsible for about 40 employees and will be directly reporting to the Chief Financial Officer.Role DescriptionThe HR Coordinator is responsible for executing and supporting core HR processes, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and compliance across all people operations. This is an operational role, directly impacting employee experience and internal efficiency, that requires moderate autonomy on execution and operational decisions.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESHR AdministrationManage employee lifecycle processes (contracts, onboarding/offboarding, labor changes)Maintain HRIS data accuracyEnsure proper documentation and compliance (Ontario regulations)Support payroll processes (coordination with external provider)Recruitment & OnboardingCoordinate recruitment processes (interview scheduling, candidate communication)Post job openingsSupport structured interview processesManage onboarding (documentation, first-day experience, follow-up)Employee & Manager SupportFirst point of contact for HR-related queriesResolve basic employee issuesEscalate complex cases when neededSupport performance and development processesHR Processes & Continuous ImprovementStandardize HR processesIdentify inefficiencies and improvement opportunitiesSupport HR projects (engagement, culture, compensation, training initiatives)Reporting & Basic AnalyticsTrack HR costs and metrics (turnover, time-to-hire, etc.)Prepare reports for managementSupport internal auditsKEY COMPETENCIESAbility to deliver processes end-to-end with qualityStrong attention to detail and analytical thinkingClear and structured communicationCustomer OrientationOwnership and proactive mindsetREQUIREMENTSFluency in English (written and verbal skills). Renewable based on performance and business needsWorking Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to FridayWork Model: Onsite, Toronto OfficeCompensation: Base salary CAD $50,000 $60,000 (annualized), $26 to $31 per hour.
