Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Land Mineral Analyst for a 12-month contract position, with possible extensions in Calgary, Alberta. Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.This position is 100% onsite in downtown Calgary. 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week. It is NOT a remote role. Role DescriptionThe Senior Mineral Land Analyst is responsible for reviewing and aligning current land records in CS to data standards, procedural documents, and consistency manuals to help maintain our data integrity. The ideal candidate will work closely with other members of the Mineral Lease and Contracts team, Land Negotiators, Well Asset Management Team, as well as A&D, to ensure consistent application of the Companys Mineral Land processes across the database. The Senior Mineral Land Analyst will be instrumental in improving the overall accuracy and integrity the Company's land records in the land database.ResponsibilitiesAccountable for leading the land expiry process and follow through on expiry/continuations and government/freehold notifications to Geologists, Negotiators and Partners.Understanding and working knowledge of Saskatchewan Crown regulations, as well as Freehold leases.Be involved in process and procedure developmentProcess external and internal inquiries in a timely fashionSolve complex problems that encompass a range of challengesGenerate complex area land maps and ability to extract data from various systemsWork with Negotiators on Crown posting and sale processPrepare and submit caveats, withdrawals, discharges and transfers of caveats to land titles office and advises partner and freehold ownersBe able to work independently on most problems receiving guidance on more complex or unusual issuesCore Systems: CS Explorer, Execute, GeoScout, StackDX, SAP, ISC, IRISRequired Skills and Experience5-8 years of oil and gas land administration experience.Graduate of a recognized land program is preferred, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.Active member of LEMAC.Previous experience with the following systems is highly desired: CS Explorer, Execute, GeoScout, StackDX, SAP, ISC, IRISHigh attention to detail as well as strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage and adjust priorities in a high paced, dynamic environment.Please note that while all applications are appreciated, only candidates selected for interview will be contacted.InSync Systems Inc. is a privately-owned boutique Canadian Resourcing and Consulting Services Company that works closely with a range of corporate clients across multiple industries to bring them solutions that effectively address their business needs.
