We integrate cutting-edge IoT, access control, and building automation systems to create exceptional living experiences for residents while driving operational efficiency for property owners and managers.We are seeking a Project Manager or Construction Manager to take full ownership of implementing Gratas platform across a growing portfolio of new developments and retrofit projects. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, is comfortable on construction sites, and can confidently oversee projects from planning through client handover with a focus on precision, speed, and quality.(Alternative Titles: Implementation Manager, Deployment Specialist) Location: Remote/Hybrid Extensive Travel Across North AmericaKey Responsibilities Project Planning & ExecutionDevelop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) for the deployment of Gratas platform.Capture and confirm correct equipment specifications early in the process, ensuring smooth procurement and timely delivery.Stakeholder Collaboration Serve as the primary point of contact for property owners, developers, general contractors, subcontractors, and IoT vendors.Align all parties on project objectives, deliverables, and timelines to ensure a unified approach.Equipment Procurement & Logistics Create and maintain accurate BOMs for each project.Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure the right equipment is ordered, shipped, and delivered to site on time.Manage all logistics between suppliers, warehouses, and project sites.Deployment & Installation Management Travel extensively (up to 70%+) across North America to manage on-site project execution.Organize, supervise, and schedule contractors and labor teams to deliver installations efficiently, to specification, and within budget.Ensure installations are fully compatible with building systems and completed to top standards.Testing, QA, & Handover Perform rigorous system testing and quality assurance before final sign-off.Provide training, documentation, and full operational handover to client teams.Guarantee that the delivered solution is defect-free and ready for immediate resident and management use.Risk Management & Reporting Proactively identify and resolve risks including supply chain delays, technical conflicts, and on-site challenges.Maintain comprehensive project documentation and provide regular progress updates to clients and internal teams.Cross-Team CoordinationWork closely with Gratas sales, product, and customer success teams to ensure smooth transitions from signed contracts to live operations.Requirements 5+ years of experience in project management or coordination within construction, multifamily housing, residential developments, or proptech.Prior experience with low voltage systems, HVAC, and door hardware strongly preferred.Experience in both retrofit projects and new construction developments is a plus.Hands-on knowledge of IoT systems, property management software, and project management tools.Strong capabilities in BOM creation, vendor management, and complex logistics coordination.Proven ability to deliver projects on time, on budget, and to high quality standards.Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and stakeholder management skills.Excellent communication skills both verbal and written for working with diverse audiences.Willingness and ability to travel extensively (up to 70%+) across North America.PMP certification or similar credentials are an asset.What We Offer Competitive salary plus performance-based bonuses .Expense accounts for travel and client meetings .Comprehensive health benefits (medical, dental, vision) .Flexible remote or hybrid work arrangements .Significant opportunities for career growth in a rapidly scaling company .A chance to work at the forefront of smart building technology and shape the future of connected living.
