Our ClientA leading asset management firm specializing in mutual funds and alternative investments, recognized for its unique portfolio management strategy and independent research approach.The RoleReporting to the Controller, the Senior Analyst will:Ensure accuracy of daily NAV pricing and review fund accounting records.Oversee financial, tax, and regulatory reporting (financial statements, disclosures, fund facts, tax filings).Liaise with investment managers, custodians, auditors, and service providers.Prepare and review fund financial statements and valuations.Maintain fund tax records and manage distributions/returns.Support efficiency, risk mitigation, and control initiatives.Contribute to portfolio analysis, financial reporting, and marketing support.Assist with ad hoc projects as required.The CandidateUndergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.CPA designation (or in progress) preferred.Minimum 3 years public accounting and/or fund accounting experience.Strong knowledge of financial reporting and securities (including derivatives).Proficiency in Excel; SQL, Python, Power BI an asset.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.Detail-oriented, dependable, and effective in deadline-driven environments.REF# LI 1662
