Shape fire operations and logistics with the Town of Morinville as Deputy Chief. This permanent full-time position is essential for the towns fire service delivery and safety protocols. The Deputy Chief of Operations & Logistics will oversee fire hall activities while actively engaging in community service alignment. Responsibilities include managing fleet services, directing team performance, and serving as Incident Commander. This role is pivotal in preparing and maintaining reports, ensuring adherence to fire service regulations, and fostering a high-morale department. Key Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with firefighting standards and policies Lead HR efforts in team recruitment and training Manage fleet and service equipment replacement planning Function as Incident Commander at emergency incidents Prepare budgets and presentations for review Requirements: Ten years of fire service experience, five in leadership Certification in Fire Management and Leadership preferred Comprehensive knowledge of NFPA standards necessary Valid CPR Level C and First Aid certification Experience in budgeting and policy implementation required Drive effective fire service and community safety leadership as Deputy Chief in Morinville. #J-18808-Ljbffr
