JOB DESCRIPTION Contract: 3-Month Contract to Start Rate: $22-$25 Location: Remote - EST hours Insight Global is looking for a part-time Payroll Specialist to join a leading insurance company. We are looking for someone who to manage end-to-end payroll processing. In addition to running employee's payroll, the successful candidate will also maintain compliance with federal and provincial regulations. This role will be roughly 15 hours/week, with a possible need for more hours to support month end tasks. This is a fully remote role. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE - 3+ years of experience in payroll processing - Diploma or certification in Payroll Administration or Accounting - PCP certification (or working towards it) - Strong knowledge of Canadian Payroll legislations and CRA requirements - Has processed payroll in ON, AB and BC - Has experience with month end payroll We may use artificial intelligence tools to assist with the screening, assessment, or selection of potential applicants for this position.
