This is a fully inoffice position in Sylvan Lake. The Opportunity The firm is seeking an Accounting Manager or Senior Manager with at least 5 years experience in public practice. This is a handson role with meaningful client interaction, file review responsibility, and staff mentorship. About the Firm 9 total staff, including 2 Partners Collaborative, respectful culture with a genuine commitment to work/life balance Stable firm with longtenured employees Role Breakdown 30% Working with new clients and onboarding engagements 40% Reviewing files and meeting directly with clients 30% Mentoring staff and handson file preparation, including tax work What Theyre Looking For CPA designation 5+ years experience in public practice (10+ years is ideal) Desire and aptitude to become a partner in the short to medium term Interest in compilations, small business tax, and personal tax Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with clients A desire to build a longterm career in public accounting Enjoys mentoring and working collaboratively in an office setting Note: candidates with fewer years of experience but with the right aptitude and attitude will also be considered.
