Responsibilities Efficiently picks and assembles orders from various temperature areas with care to achieve on-time delivery to customers. Packs orders with attention to detail including distinguishing between similarly named products, exact quantities, and correct product codes. Ensures that products picked are of the highest quality (no damaged products, freshest product selection, etc.). Documents and labels all orders correctly through interpretation of pick slips, packaging details, and shipping labels. Optimizes tote fill by packing orders in a space-efficient manner while maintaining product quality standards. Balances fulfillment responsibilities with customer interaction and service; supports issues to resolution. Adheres to strict safety and food hygiene standards, maintains a clean and hygienic work area, cleans up spills promptly, and ensures totes are clean and debris-free before packing; operates material handling equipment safely and completes safety pre-inspection checks; demonstrates behaviors that support the organizations mission and core values. Participates in continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting changes to procedures, productivity standards, safety, quality, and customer satisfaction; demonstrates flexibility in completing or adjusting work assignments to meet daily delivery schedules.
