Position Details Nason Contracting Group Ltd. is currently seeking local Journeyperson or Apprentice Ironworkers for work on our DOW Path to Net Zero project in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. Schedule: 5 days on, 2 days off Hours: 10 hours worked Monday Thursday, 8 hours Friday Wage: $52.00 (As per Collective Agreement) Travel: N/A Camp / Accommodation: N/A Benefits & RRSP: As per CLAC Collective Agreement What You Will Be Working On Unload and stack steel units so each piece can be hoisted as needed Erect and install scaffolding, construction cranes, derricks, and other hoisting equipment Assemble rigging (cables, pulleys, hooks) to move heavy equipment and materials Attach cables from a crane or derrick and direct crane operators with hand signals or radios Position steel units, align holes, and insert temporary bolts Assemble and erect prefabricated metal structures Ensure safe work practices, EH&S procedures, and OH&S compliance are followed on site What We Are Looking For To be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements: Journeyperson or Apprentice Ironworker Certificate Experience in industrial or construction Strong commitment to safety Excellent verbal communication skills Strong leadership and organizational abilities Ability to read and interpret drawings, bills of materials, and written instructions Required Safety Certifications CSTS 20 WHMIS 2015 Fall Protection Elevated Work Platform (EWP) Crane and Rigging Valid Drivers License We thank all applicants for their interest in working with Bird Nason Contracting Group; however, only those selected for further consideration will be contacted. #J-18808-Ljbffr
