Job Summary The Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and completeness of customer accounts, investigating variances or unallocated payments, and providing financial insights through regular reporting to Senior Management. Key Duties and Responsibilities Maintain AR Subledger. Prepare and present monthly AR report highlighting key movements of aged receivables, trends, and collection performance. Review open items (debits and credits) and coordinate with Credit Analyst for feedback and action items. Identify and analyze variances in customer accounts and ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies. Investigate and clear unallocated entries in customer accounts. Support the accurate matching and application of customer payments to corresponding invoices. Reconcile AR Suspense accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of cash applications. Prepare other AR-related reports as assigned. Assist in accounting monthend close process. Prepare and analyze KPIs. Provide support during periodic external and internal audit. Collaborate with Operations and AR team to resolve billing and payment issues. Perform other required tasks. Qualifications / Competencies Experience & Technical Skills: Experience with ERP system (preferably SAP) Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, data analysis) Minimum of 35 years of progressive experience in Accounts Receivable Core Competencies: Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent problemsolving skills and investigative abilities Proven ability to work collaboratively across departments Strong organizational and timemanagement skills High level of accuracy, accountability and confidentiality managing customer financial information Education / Certifications College diploma required or equivalent experience University degree in Accounting or business a plus What We Offer!
