Senior Full-Stack Developer Accessibility & Inclusive Technology (Contract, Remote Canada)Clearance: Government screening may be requiredWere hiring a Senior Full-Stack Developer to help build equitable, accessible digital systems that work for everyone. This role focuses on embedding accessibility into all layers of software front-end components, back-end systems, and the testing pipelines that hold them together.Youll be part of a cross-functional team rethinking how people access vital public services online, contributing to a more inclusive future by writing clean, accessible, and thoughtful code.What Youll DoDevelop accessible front-end and back-end systems using modern frameworks and toolsBuild with inclusive, semantic HTML, strong ARIA practices, and assistive tech compatibility Participate in manual and automated accessibility testing, debugging issues from a user-centered lensContribute to VPATs, ACRs, and documentation that supports long-term compliance and transparencyCollaborate with designers, testers, and product teams to improve accessibility outcomes across the boardWhat Were Looking For6+ years of experience in full-stack or frontend developmentDeep understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA), keyboard navigation, and responsive designExperience working with accessibility testing tools (e.g., Axe, WAVE, manual screen reader testing)Comfortable working in agile, iterative teams and adjusting to evolving needsStrong communication skills especially around access and usabilityInclusion & Accessibility StatementAccessibility Partners Canada is committed to fostering an inclusive, equitable, and diverse workplace.
