SUPPLY CHAIN OPERATOR CGC Inc. is a leading marketer, manufacturer and distributor of gypsum wallboard products, interior finishing material and suspended acoustical ceilings. We are currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Operator for our gypsum plant, based in Hagersville, Ontario. This is a permanent and fulltime position offering a challenging opportunity for a motivated individual to demonstrate their skills and abilities in a manufacturing operation within a large corporation. RESPONSIBILITIES Assisting with the loading and placement of all products from the Board Lines and/or Joint Treatment Departments. Assisting with the implementation of the RPM Program including supporting, scheduling and maintaining all rules and procedures related to the Supply Chains RPM initiative. Reading and completing documented inspection procedures. Following instructions on printed work orders to complete assigned tasks. Maintaining a high standard for housekeeping within the work area. Assisting in the implementation of USG Model Programs, Safety Rules, VWIs/JSAs and Standard Operating Procedures, as required. Exercising personal safety, promoting and enforcing safety among crew members. QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma. Experience in a manufacturing/mining environment is preferred. Must be willing and capable of operating a Fork Truck for warehousing, loading and unloading various products. Ability to recognize unsafe conditions or hazards within the work area. Computer skills required for data entry and reporting, and for reviewing or revising documents using Microsoft Office. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook for work-related emails. Ability to learn the operation of plant equipment. Demonstrates problemsolving skills and the ability to work as a team. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Demonstrates the ability to cooperate with coworkers in areas of safety, quality, production/maintenance, and understands the importance of completing assigned tasks and their relationship to other requirements. Hourly wage: $30.79. Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
