Become a Day Camp Leader with The Salvation Army, guiding children in engaging activities while fostering a supportive environment. This impactful role requires passion for child development and community service. The Salvation Army seeks a dedicated Day Camp Leader to oversee children at our day camp. You will collaborate with other leaders, assist with planning and organizing activities, and ensure participants learn in a fun, safe setting. This position also involves administrative support and the opportunity to provide spiritual encouragement to campers and their families. Key Responsibilities: Design creative activities in line with camp goals Supervise and ensure camper safety and engagement Help with conflict resolution among campers Assist in registration and screening of campers Support youth volunteers in leadership training Requirements: Currently enrolled in or completed High School Valid Police Check with vulnerable sector screening First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to train Ability to work legally in Canada Strong communication and organizational skills Bring your enthusiasm for child care, community engagement, and leadership to The Salvation Army''s Day Camp Leader role. #J-18808-Ljbffr
