Take a pivotal role with the Government of Nunavut as the Director, Human Resources, focusing on Inuit Employment and Training. Drive transformation in organizational structure and human resources management. As the Director reporting to the Executive Director of Devolution, you will develop and implement strategic human resource initiatives. Your responsibilities include overseeing Inuit Employment goals and managing staffing processes. Utilizing your expertise, you will provide critical leadership during the transition to a new department in Iqaluit. Key Responsibilities: Implement the Devolution Agreement for federal employee integration Develop and monitor the Inuit Employment Plan (IEP) Advise senior leadership on human resource metrics Lead a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring efficient staffing Manage budget and departmental human resources activities Requirements: University degree in Human Resources Management or related field Minimum six years related work experience Five years of managerial experience Certified Human Resource Professional designation preferred Knowledge of Inuit culture and communities Embrace the challenge of shaping human resources in Nunavut and support Inuit employment initiatives. #J-18808-Ljbffr
